Our efforts in the area of education thus far include: our Peggy Wynn learning center (6 weeks - 4 years old), our summer enrichment camp (200 plus kids), our spring break enrichment camp (75 plus kids), our after school enrichment program (60 plus kids), and our OSR AL State Certified Pre-K Classroom.

WE ARE PUTTING OUR COMMUNITY TO WORK! We are helping prepare job seekers to re-enter the job force through career planning and development. Our annual job fair connects prepared job seekers with employers providing immediate job openings. NRS Community Development Federal Credit Union serves as a community-based financial institution, targeting low income citizens, small businesses, and minority entrepreneurs in the East Lake and surrounding areas of Northeast Birmingham.
Our goal is to be a profitable, full service member-owned financial institution, offering its members convenient, quality service with a personal touch, in a safe and secure environment for members to conduct their business.

We revitalize our community by providing tools and knowledge necessary for homeownership. We turn vacant properties into homes and renters into homeowners. We also provide resources for home renovation. Homeownership and renovations increase economic assets and develop a sense of community by building pride, interest and concern for our neighborhoods.
